The app
The ShotPlots app runs entirely in your browser. It has no server component. Your plans, the objects in them and the files you save are never transmitted to us or to anyone else, because there is nowhere for them to be transmitted to.
The app stores a temporary recovery draft in your own browser's local storage so that a crashed tab does not lose your work. That data never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
If you enter a licence code, it is checked on your own machine and stored in your browser. It is not sent anywhere.
This website
The pages you are reading are static files. They set no cookies and load nothing from third-party servers, no web fonts, no trackers, no embedded video, no social widgets.
Our host records standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser user agent) as part of serving the site. These are used only to keep the site up and to spot abuse.
Analytics

Buying a licence
Payments are handled entirely by our checkout provider, [Gumroad / Lemon Squeezy]. When you buy, you give them your email address and payment details; we never see or store your card details. They send you a licence code by email, and they hold the record of the sale under their own privacy policy, which you should read if that matters to you.
We keep your email address only where needed to send your licence code again if you lose it, and to handle a refund.
Your rights
Because we hold almost nothing about you, there is almost nothing to request or delete. If you have bought a licence and want your email address removed from our records, write to [CONTACT EMAIL] and it will be done.
Children
This is a professional tool with no social features and no user accounts. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made quietly.
